Fryeburg Academy stymies Cape Elizabeth again in baseball opener

CAPE ELIZABETH—There was no revenge to be had for Cape Elizabeth's baseball team on a chilly Wednesday afternoon at Holman Field.

The Capers welcomed Fryeburg Academy in the teams' mutual season opener and as was the case last June, the Raiders got solid pitching and did just enough on offense to hand Cape Elizabeth a defeat.

As both squads demonstrated why they expect to be in the hunt all spring.
