SACO—The future is now for Thornton Academy's girls' lacrosse team.

The Golden Trojans are one of the last four teams left standing, something which last happened over a decade ago, and based on how they played Friday evening at Hill Stadium, against perennial power Yarmouth, in a Class A state quarterfinal, Thornton Academy is just getting started.
