Yarmouth caps sensational week with walk-off win over Cape

YARMOUTH—What a week it was.

And what a turnaround it's been for Yarmouth's baseball team in recent days.

The Clippers, who won just three games a year ago, have caught fire and Friday afternoon, they hosted one of the best teams in Class B South, Cape Elizabeth, in a late-season showdown and the rivals put on a show.

A show which featured one-upmanship, clutch hitting and fielding and an additional inning of agony and ecstasy.

Before Yarmouth could celebrate yet another win.
