Yarmouth girls rally, earn signature win over Windham

YARMOUTH—For the entirety of Dorothy Holt's two decade stint as coach of Yarmouth's girls' lacrosse team, the Clippers have been notorious for showing steady improvement and being at their best in the championship month of June.

This spring, Yarmouth might be ahead of schedule.

Friday evening, the Clippers, who had lost a couple of home games already this year, welcomed reigning Class A champion Windham in a playoff rematch and dug an early four-goal hole.

But as it turned out, Yarmouth had the Eagles right where it wanted them.
